My First “Join Our PACK Pitch” at Wake Forest University

Today while attending my admissions campus tour at Wake Forest University, I was able to set up an appointment with the folks at the University Counseling Center (UCC). In particular, I met with the Director of the UCC, Dr. Warrenetta Mann and Associate Director for Community Engagement, Dr. Denisha Champion. I was able to discuss with them my mission at Join Our PACK relating to incorporating a campus therapy dog within their college community. I left them with some materials on the benefits of therapy dogs on college campuses. Dr. Mann and Dr. Champion are going to discuss further with the university’s administration and reach back out to me.
